The work

What does Beachy's Land Clearing & Mulching do?

Land clearing, forestry mulching, cleaning fence rows, tree removal, culverts, dirt and gravel work, brush hog and property clean up, around Finger, Tennessee and nearby areas.

What is forestry mulching?

Forestry mulching clears brush and small trees with one machine. A tracked machine with a mulching head grinds everything down where it stands and leaves it on the ground as mulch, so there are no burn piles and nothing to haul off, and the trees you want to keep stay standing.

Do I need forestry mulching or full land clearing?

It depends on what the land is for. Mulching fits overgrown brush, fence rows, trails and thinning out the woods, when you want the good trees kept and the ground left covered. If you are building a house, a shop or a drive, the trees, stumps and roots usually have to come out and the ground has to be shaped, which is excavator and dozer work. Tell us what the land is for and we will tell you which one fits.

Can you clear a lot so I can build a house?

Yes. One customer had us clear their overgrown property and get it ready for inspections so they could get the permits to build their new house. Dirt work and a gravel drive can be done on the same job.

Do you remove stumps?

Yes. On a building site or a drive, stumps are pulled out with the rest of the clearing. With forestry mulching the brush is ground down where it stands and the stumps stay in the ground.

Can you leave some of the trees standing?

Yes. Show us the trees you want to keep and we work around them.

Can you cut trails on my property?

Yes. Four-wheeler trails, trails around the edge of a farm, and opening up the woods. Two of our Google reviews are from customers who had trails put in.

Do you clean fence rows and brush hog fields?

Yes, both. Overgrown fence rows cleaned out, field edges cleared back and fields brush hogged.

Do you put in gravel drives and culverts?

Yes. Drives cut in and graveled, dirt moved and culverts put in. See the dirt, gravel and culvert work.

What happens to the trees and brush?

With forestry mulching it all stays on the ground as mulch. On a clearing job the trees and brush can be put where you want them. Ask about it when you call.

Will the brush grow back after mulching?

Some of it will. Mulching cuts everything down to the ground, but the roots stay in the soil and some brush sprouts again. Brush hogging it once in a while keeps it down.

Do you do small jobs and yards?

Yes. Overgrown yards and small clean ups as well as farms and building lots.
